How can you win a occupation?
If the war is over this is an occupation in Iraq. The same people that lieberman and the repug crew are talking about killing are the same people they were talking about saving when they went into Iraq. Bush and his crew are all over the tv telling us we are unpatriotic because we are talking common sense. They say the job will be done when they kill all the insurgents, they can't tell who are the insurgents. Lieberman said the Dems better accept the fact that his president is the president, I am not going to say what lieberman better accept!

3. Thats what they are doing when they try to clear out certain parts of Iraq
this is how they create more enemies. When they first went in I remember they thought they knew where Sadaam was underground and they used one of those bunker buster bombs and killed families, think some of those family members and other will forget and love them and throw flowers. I don't see how they will ever know who they can trust, some are sabatoging everything they are trying to do.

4. They have run out of ideas ...
they are now offering 1 billion dollars to anyone who can tell them how to win. Everyday, I hear something crazier and crazier from these people. They went in saying they knew everything now they have their asses caught in a crack and they are throwing out anything to see what will work to get him back up in the polls. In the meantime, they are playing with peoples lives.

8. Now offering a committee of retired 4 star generals the opportunity
to "fix" it for them. How lame is that. Everyone and anyone who has worked in business knows that the single most important reason to form a committee is to spead the blame around. Retired generals? Please....

9. remember, to the Bush Crime Family, they ARE winning
and they are 100% correct:

selling un-metered oil from Iraq

given all the industries and resources to their crony pals

billions of US tax dollars dumped into the pockets of said cronies

if anything, a continued insurgency means MORE MONEY for these bastards

in their eyes, the goals have been accomplished

5. Psssssssssssst
Come closer.

Let me whisper this in your ear:

"It wasn't a war. It was never a war. It was, and always will be, an invasion."

And we're the invaders.

They're not insurgents, either; don't buy into that bullshit Bushspeak.

They're resistance fighters, freedom fighters, patriots fighting to defend their country, much as you and I would if another country invaded ours for no reason at all.

7. Damn good question
They're talking about victory as if this was the super bowl or something. Fact is, there was no enemy there before we rolled into town with Rumsfeld's little shock and awe circus. Was victory an objective then when there was no enemy? No.

This is an occupation, not a war. We've invaded their sovereign nation; bombed the jeezuz out of it; desecrated and razed their holy city to the ground; ravaged their antiquities; paved over old Babylon; stolen their mineral resources; irradiated their soil; tortured their citizens; crippled their utilities and infrastructure, and established a monumentally bloated money laundering operation for corporate contractors to the U.S. government.

Now we're supposed to feel righteous outrage because we've pissed some people off and their pushing back hard.

Victory? There is no victory. The word is a shameful joke.

What they really mean is, if we leave, then Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and their followers will feel like the big fat losers they are -- which is the opposite of victory -- and America just can't have that.

Victory means establishing a corporate colony in Iraq and securing the oil we're there to steal. That's what they mean when they invoke the word.
