14. I'm right behind you
Rousseau said a governemnt needed to be overthrown and changed every 20 years to maintain total happiness among the people. I would go ahead and say 4 years is too long in America, let alone the 8 we now have to endure.

10. I generally have liberal positions, but I am pragmatist and opposed to
utopians both on the left and on the right. I am very anti-ideological and I shun idealism.

16. Karl Marx supported the Republican party...
...of course that was in the 1860's and the Republican he was specifically supporting was Abraham Lincoln.

21. What is so left about Michael Moore?
Aren't you just falling for their talking points? Or am I forgetting some truly radical things he said?

23. I don't think you are..
I'm always hearing people saying they "don't trust" Michael Moore. For the life of me I can't figure out why. I've never caught him in a lie. I watched Fahrenheit 9/11 before the 2004 election and all of the things that the Freepers were screaming were false turned out to be true. They were the ones who labeled him as someone not to be trusted and they attacked him recently the same way because he opposes the war in Iraq. Here's the link to Moore's reply, which was pretty good.

http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/message/index.php?messageDate=2005-11-18

I find myself agreeing with him and I get a lot of good, provable information from his website. Of course he's a leftist and he hates Bush. I'm a leftist and I hate Bush. It doesn't make either one of us a liar or untrustworthy.

If you want to see some really big lies, check out the GOP website and read that. It's like entering one of the lower levels of Hell.:evilfrown: I'll stack Moore's credibility against the Freepers anytime.

Haven't heard anyone yet giving the solutions I think are drastic enough to solve the problems Reagan started and Bush is finishing.

He's going to leave this country like a car with the whole interior stripped out and no way to fix it.

24. I dispute the poll.
I don't think either Conyers or Moore are particularly far left. I can't think of a single Dem politician who is. Your poll implies that DU is skewed to the far left simply because people consider themselves to the left of Conyers or Moore. That's not meaningful.

Also, the left and right concept is BS. It plays into the hands of the crooks who are looting our kids' future and soiling America.
