I just read about the "freight" and about the "anthrax" and I'm roaring ma

Every time I read the paper, log onto DU, listen to the news, its another damning revelation about another administration screw up. How can any American keep believing that this group in Washington is anything but a bunch of self-serving idiots. Its frustrating as hell to be so helpless. And yes, I have e-mailed, called, written letters, contributed. What the heck else can we do. I know there are people like Dean, Harry Reid, Pelosi and countless others working tirelessly to rid us of this plague but somehow the republican dirty laundry and shady deals keep hitting the air and there is still no impeachment. The smug faces and obvious disdain of the repubs still shows through. Each time I see certain republican members of congress I grit my teeth. Listening to the platitudes of Frist and others like him, is like chalk on a blackboard...I'm off. I'm trying to keep peace with family and friends but its nearing the brink. Got a repub do-gooder e-mail from a friend today. Safer to delete because if I answer it, there will be one less Christmas card to send. Today is one bad story after another. I guess its same old, same old. OR maybe its me that is OLD.
