USA supports the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over Democracy.
USA supported The Shah, and his RW death squads, in Iran.
CIA plotted with Ba'ath leaders and overthrew Iraq's President Abdul Karim Kassim on February 8, 1963 which lead to Saddam's reign.
USA one-sidedness in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

1. Western policy of going for strongmen in the middle east really backfired.
So too the Saudi policy of funding islamist organizations to keep the people tribal and not screaming for democratic rights.

We make the best killing devices around and sell them to every country we can. Why? We love violence and we love death and destruction. We are the antithesis of good. But Free????????ask Padilla about Constitutional rights of a free nation.
