If they are right, then we are wrong....?
If Bush and the "neo-cons" are sane and in touch with reality, then we are insane and out of touch with reality? If the illegal Iraq invasion creates a democracy, then we have been deluding ourselves. If they were right to invade Iraq, then we were wrong to be against it. There will be no unforeseen consequences. All the Arab neighbors of Iraq will embrace their new "democracy" - just like George Bush says. There will be no more insurgents or terrorism. The mission will be accomplished. God loves George W Bush. We were all living in a world of delusion. Will you accept the new reality, the new paradigm, and admit you were wrong and living in a deluded world? Can you admit that? :)

1. Um...I would be happy
to do just that if it were true. But "by their fruits ye shall know them" and this administration is a punch of sour lemons that rotted on the tree.

3. It's incomprehensible, isn't it?
Because it is they that are so out of touch with reality that we cannot comprehend how they could even think such thoughts...but they do.

4. You're right, from a purely logical standpoint
But, more likely what will happen is Bush will "be proven right" (in the media), Iraq will have a democracy (in name only), and the mission will be accomplished (when the troops are brought back home just in time for the elections).

And all of these things will most certainly happen.

That won't mean that we were wrong, but according to the conventional wisdom we will be labled as having been "wrong".

I can accept that. I really don't care enough, anymore.

5. But that will only be a temporary moment in history....
The truth will be longer in coming. By then, people will be ready for a "new deception"...

6. I would go with history and that shows they are never right about anything
 but "9-11 changed everything"
