http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_F._Hayesand here is his latest from Media Matters
http://mediamatters.org/items/200512130004I am not talking about his recent work or whatever tune they have him blowing now I am talking about his core being and body of work.
I understand that both sides need bodies to fill the punditry seats but Hayes is downright insulting to everyone. He has absolutely nothing new to offer in any way. No new perspective. Nothing.
I mean Kathleen Parker at the very least clearly has the goods on someone in the publishing and editing world so they dutifully buy and print her musing about what ever it is that she has chosen not to make a point about. Maybe Hayes has something like that going on. He did go to Columbia so I think we are all supposed to be impressed by that.
Anyone have any idea here? Is he being groomed to be the next Fred Barnes or some other George Will wannabe? Is it enough to just be such a douchebag or is he supposed to actually create some new corner or wrinkle in the douchebag universe?
