Just ordered a lasting 'statement'

Trying to figure some way to make my 'statement'. I found this great place that does personalized license plate frames. Today I ordered this one: "Troops Home" (top line) "Bush to the Hague" (bottom line) Now I can make my statement wherever I am driving.. and maybe have some fun along the way when the 'freeps' begin honking and pointing..

2. Here in NYC license plate frames will get you an 85.00 dollar

ticket. It's against the law to hide/block a clear look at one's license plates. Did you know that?

4. Visible plates

Same rules here in California. Plataes must be visible and readable. These frames don't cover any part of the plate. They work fine!

5. It is ironic, since 9 out of 10 cars have plate frames. Guess when it

is close to the end of the month and the cop has not met his quota, he will stop you and give you a ticket. :o

8. Bklyn Liberal..

I thought for sure you'd know that. Plate frames while attractive are against the law here in NYC. While there is no rush to ticket cars for them the opportunity exists for an 85$. summons.

9. Now that you mention it, my friend's husband is a cop, and he did tell me

that a while back. It is just that almost all cars have the frames, so one tends to forget that they are illegal...just like seeing so many people talking on cell phones while driving, one tends to forget how illegal that is here in NYC as well. I would just LOVE to see ...just once...someone actually get pulled over for talking on a cell phone while driving. x(
