A REAL Progressive Platform
General Values to Support
Liberty
Equality
Compassion

Specific Legislation to Support
Transparent and documented democracy, such as opening up the methods of primaries, debates, and the FEC to show how they really work AND receipts for your votes;

Greater democracy, by implementing further our notion of a government of, for, and by the people, including the right of the people to recall their representatives, more term limits in Congress, and the right of the people to petition against mandates, which can result in an automatic mandated referendum solely up to a popular vote and not representatives;

Economic justice for all, including free health care that without 84,000 Americans per year die, and a free college education which is only the first step in minimizing the unfair socio-economic class distinction of birth;

Greater economic fairness by removing the automatic full retirement package that all Congressmen get and replacing it with Social Security, such that Congressmen will be forced to save and respect the Social Security Trust;

A complete repeal of the Patriot Act, the Homeland Security Act, Patriot Act II, and executive orders like Operation Coppergreen for their offense against the Constitution. Guarantee of Geneva Conventions, and other implementations of human and civil rights;

An end to corruption by implementing a new idea: separation of corporation and state, i.e. no more revolving doors, no more conflict of interest between ownership/family ownership of corporate stock versus policy and votes;

An end to the military industrial complex that ravages the world, killing innocents, enslaving innocents, destroying our reputation, and making people hate us AND we can not have a War on Terror which merely replaces the Cold War and perpetuates the military industrial complex indefinitely, so we need to redefine the War on Terror as the War on Osama bin Laden whose goal is his capture for attacking Americans on American soil;

An exploration of corporate subsidies that do not benifit the American people such as subsidizing Lockheed Martin which has 84 violations and lays off tens of thousands of Americans;

A solution to the issue of disinformation and the dumbing down of America, including transparency in government like much less national security, much more documented Congressional committee transcripts available on the Internet, a greater focus on science and mathematics, no more faith-based subsidies, but merely humanitarian-based subsidies, fines against Christo-Fascist clerics such as Pat Robertson who are profiting from disinformation and being a political tool of the Man;

The impeachment, trial, and conviction of George W. Bush, much of the Republican Party members of Congress, and any complicit DiNOs in the Democratic Party members of Congress, the editors of the National Review who were directly involved in forging the fraudulent Iraqi intel and the rest of the neo-conservative elite who have hijacked America through a massive campaign of deception and terror.

2. Sign me up!
And perhaps add this: Legalization and regulation of ALL drugs, fully funding the FDA (after stocking it with scientists) and the cessation of all anti-drug activities abroad.

3. you forgot NO CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS from Corporations and energy
Independence from OIL in 10 years.. the solar project can produce 70% of daytime energy form 3 or 4 10 mile square units across the southwest.. It needs to be a government run program because it is a matter of national security. the oil companies have proved they are run by foreign interests and cant be trusted.
