Am trying to stay calm, but REALLY want to kick someone's ass about
Bush authorizing spying on Americans, ILLEGALLY!!! I am pissed...

Who can we take this anger out on? Do we have a legal option here? or he is just the Fucken' KING of the land and there is nothing we can do about it?

How does this work now?

2. The way it worked in the former USSR was that your ass would be in
the Gulag.

I fear that's the direction this leadership is taking the country.

When is the last time you heard any of these bastards talk about reducing the number of prisons and increasing civil liberties?

3. Now what I'm wondering is...
...is that a high crime or a misdemeanor?

4. Not that it'll ever amount to anything, but isn't this a SMOKING GUN?
Honestly, folks... isn't this the first time that it has actually been PROVEN BEYOND ANY DOUBT that President Bush HIMSELF has violated Federal Law?

Sure, I know it's like convicting Al Capone for tax evasion... but you can only indict with what you've got. I think this constitutes grounds for impeachment.

I'd give my eye teeth for any Democratic leader to mention the "I-word" in light of this news.

5. we're talking about 500 people
I'm not saying your outrage is not justified, but I highly doubt many people are going to be up in arms over spying on 500 (likely highly suspicious) people. Besides, I'm not entirely sure how what the NSA did is any different from what the FBI does to tens of thousands with the patriot act.
