hey, whatever happened to the second half of the 9/11 commission report?
you know, the one Harry Reid stopped congress for?

er...wasn't there supposed to be a report by now, or am I remembering incorrectly?

1. It wasn't the 9/11 commission report -
Reid stopped Congress over a second phase investigation that had been promised but never happened. It still hasn't happened. Never will IMHO as long as repukes are the majority.

seems like it was in december, but I'm a bit fuzzy on details.

9. The deadline was November 15th.

The Senate Intelligence Committee was to investigate pre-war intelligence (Phase 2) and they're still stalling; Pat Roberts (R-KS) is the chairman. There's no way he'll go after the administration for answers.

13. Not much, except attention.
His action did help the Democrats publicly bring attention to the matter, so it wasn't a total loss. As I said though - we won't be able to do much until we win back Congress next year. All things will be possible then, including impeachment.

18. But since our demand got publicity
so should the follow up or lack of it. If no more has happened the same Dem leaders should be talking about it every chance they get as a broken promise.
