careful when you awaken the slumbering giant.....

i just got this image of the us citizenry "waking up" and putting the fear into the people running this country. they/we have been asleep for a good couple of decades. the unforseen result of bush's incompetence, audacity and criminal propensities are serving to rouse Americans. i have never been so politically active as i am now. and when i talk to people, i am not finding many to disagree with me about the sorry state of affairs. this even includes my republican (xtian) business partner.

more and more of us will awaken. and when it happens, those who have been living the good life at our expense are going to be sorry for their greed and exploitation of the people as it all comes round to bite them in the ass.

temps go lower. Oooh, I think the chilling temps will help to wake some of these people up, too, especially when they have to decide to stay warm, eat, or take their meds but can't afford to do all three. :-(

but damn what a sight as WE the PEOPLE get our legs and reclaim this democracy for ourselves.
