Dear Mr. Cheney,
For two hours four planes flew off course and the FAA, NORAD and the Military allowed them to fly to populated areas of the United States. In all previous circumstances of planes going off course their radar was scrambled and they were allowed only one route to land. Obviously, in this case, their radar was not scrambled for those two hours since they were allowed to find their targets. Thousands of Americans died due to this failure. This is unprecedented.
There, Mr. Cheney, is where the real failure lies. It is not about wire-taps or trampling the Constitution you swore to uphold.
We, the citizens of the United States, were promised that this would be prevented from ever happening again. We gave our President tremendous support. But, Katrina proved (and still proves) that you really do not care about Americans or our country. In fact, Katrina also showed the world that poverty and prejudice are still a real problem here in the Land of the Free.
Now, Americans are paying for your administration's failures with our freedom, our dignity and a lot of our cash.
This administration has raped and pillaged our great country and it's people long enough.
Please, Mr. Cheney, before it is too late, take your profits and leave us alone!
Sincerely,
A Proud American
