Bush Press Conference Monday - Cartoon
I'm sure you saw him, too. He can't give a straight answer to the question of why he ever wiretapped Americans without going to any court, as appropriate under the law. We know we don't trust him, and neither does anyone else in Washington.

Here's what we're all thinking.

1. I would've left out the Republican reference.. but other than that..
..it's ok..

If it were just .."and decide whichever Democrat that is" it would sound more like the spying dirtball himself.

That's my opinion anyhow..

2. Do you think he would only spy on Dems?
Seems to me he would spy on anyone who disagrees with him.

Remember that the Republican Senate just turned him down on the Patriot Act renewal, and McCain has forced Bush to back down on torture.

The point is that he's dangerous to everyone, and being in his party is no protection against him if you disagree with him.

6. it's the typical Bush defender stuff, but today's ...
"There's nothing illegal about what President Bush did. He acted in a time of war, as FDR and others have."

and

"President Clinton did the same thing, but you don't say anything about that!"
