Is anyone familiar with the artist?

The name looks like "Jesus Ba..."? Can anyone make out who the artist is?

7. You may be right - James Roger Brown
http://www.artic.edu/saic/art/brown/rbartist.html

I haven't found the painting, but descriptions and samples of his work on different websites seem to fit.

Thank you!

4. At first I thought this image was inspired by the iraq war
but now I believe that this image represents the juxtaposition of American christianity and empire (manifest destiny).
Notice the cow skull, turtle, and indian?
