1. Get rid of them
:(

They're as good for what I'd like to see the party do, as lead weights around your ankles.

2. wow...
A bit biased there isn't it?

Do we really want to sink into a realm of ideological orthodoxy akin to the right?

3. I included "OTHER"...so if you think it's biased, offer an alternative.
...and I've spend five years in Hell with George W. Bush as my "protector," watching certain Democrats (those would be the D.I.N.O.s) hand him everything he's asked for.

So do I really want to sink into a realm of ideological orthodoxy akin to the right? No, I don't. I want to align myself with a political party that is opposed to the agenda of George W. Bush.

We need to stop enabling, rewarding and applauding Democrats In Name Only.

18. Other.
But the way the question is put forward: Are we going to enable them or shut them down? It's a false dichotomy. Listening to those who may have other view points is not necessarily enabling them, it allows us to constructivly address the issues. We hear their criticisms and can refine our own ideas to better suit the situation as opposed the echo chamber the Bush administration thrives in.

The nearly all the poll choices are heavily skewed in the "shut them down" category. Why not offer some choices in the opposite view albeit only the obvious ones. The "other" option is used to force any dissenting voices to justify their view, as if the opinion pushed on us is self evident.

I chose other: It's ok to listen alternative viewpoints.

Perks of living in NY is that even the Republicans are somewhat liberal so I can give both major candidates the benefit of my consideration.

(is that how you spell it?)

I live in NY. Should I work for Hillary and the Dems, or should I work for Steve Greenfield and the Dems? Steve Greenfield is the greeen turned anti war Dem that is running for Senate from NY in 2006.

I won't be voting gop, and I'll be working my ass off for Hillary if Rudy G. runs against her. Fuck him.

I'm "the fuck" someone who's tired of 2 percenter Ralph Nader voting Party Purity Idealogues calling for party purges based on who THEY believe are DINOS. The Opening poster being a prime example.

Get it?

And I find it funny that you're going to accuse me of telling someone they're not a Democrat when the OP is calling for party purges.

So excuse you.

15. I say we just ignore them
trying to appease the whiney socialist wing of the party has never gotten us anywhere, so we should just try to make up their 2% from the independent voters who are swinging the Democrat's way.
