Undisclosed Cheney in Jackson Hole WY

I just spent 5 hours in the Idaho Falls, Idaho airport. Like a good traveler, I came 2 hours before my flight to check in, do security, etc. It is a nice airport. Not very big, but we are proud of what we have. The only problem is that the runway in Jackson Hole is to short for Air Force One/Two. As a result, large planes must land in Idaho Falls and then drive the 90 miles into Jackson. We were given a lot of excuses for the why the flight had not come in yet......3 hours. My favorite was that this direct flight had to stop in Salt lake for refueling. In reality, the plane that we were to fly out on was just putting down it's landing gear for a perfect landing in Idaho Falls. OOPS!!!! Cheney is coming. They had to retract their landing gear and divert to SLC, 200 miles away. Wow!!! I wish I could shut down an airport so that I could go fly fishing in Jackson. I wish I had the power to disrupt and inconvenience average American people. Especially since these two knuckleheads didn't even bother to come and campaign in Idaho during the 2004 election.



Has anyone ever done a study to see how much it costs American/Foreign cities to shut down all airlines/airports for 3 to 4 hours so that our wonderful leaders can fly in and out at a moments notice?



Please pass on the fact that the undisclosed location is currently JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING, FLY FISHING!!!!!!!

A gal I work with has a son in Washington, D.C. He's always complaining to her that when Cheney comes to work and goes home, all the traffic is stopped and he is brought/taken with sirens flaring, every day he's there. It's a big upset for people living and working there.

That's the worst part. Its been debunked several times over, but people still spout it like it were literal fact.
