Pray for President Bush as questions over the Patriot Act and other intelligence gathering concerns are now swirling through Washington, asking God to bring His wisdom and peace to the entire situation. Pray for wisdom and guidance for President Bush as he leads our nation into the New Year, that he will seek God daily in the Scriptures and in prayer.

Pray for President and Mrs. Bush as they celebrate the Christmas holidays this weekend, asking God to give them the blessing of meaningful times with family and friends. Pray for a genuine spirit of good will and peace to prevail as they gather, asking God to bring encouragement and strength.

Pray for wisdom for members of Congress as they consider the re-authorization of the Patriot Act as well as the bill currently before them regarding immigration reform. Both issues have been dealt with by the House and now await action by the Senate.

As the year comes to a close give thanks for another year free of terror attacks on American soil, and pray for God’s continual protection to remain on our nation and our citizens. Pray for continued victory in the war on terror, that insurgent attacks will be defeated before they are planned.
