25. Yeah, whatever happened to J.C. Watts?
I remember being very nervous about that guy's prospects in the late '90s-a genial, moderate-seeming black sports hero, he seemed to have a lot of crossover appeal. Then, in 2002, he retired from his House seat and settled into the private sector. I guess it's possible that he was just using his seat to build up business contacts, but I'd be interested to know what deterred him from running for higher offices...

shows, too.

For whoever asked about Newt Gingrich, he must be on Hannity and Colmes almost every day, because Stephanie Miller has tape of him on Right-Wing World (Hi-Yo) all the time.

35. What was that guy's name? "B-1 Bob Dornan"? And what about
the House managers, the ones who played a part in the impeachment:

February 8, 1999
Mr. Manager Sensenbrenner - Closing Statement
Mr. Manager Cannon - Closing Statement
Mr. Manager Gekas - Closing Statement (no prepared statement)
Mr. Manager Chabot - Closing Statement
Mr. Manager Barr - Closing Statement
Mr. Manager Buyer - Closing Statement
Mr. Manager McCollum - Closing Statement
Mr. Manager Canady - Closing Statement
Mr. Manager Bryant - Closing Statement
Mr. Manager Hutchinson - Closing Statement
Mr. Manager Rogan - Closing Statement
Mr. Manager Graham - Closing Statement
Mr. Manager Hyde -

Look at Rogan, Bryant, Hutchinson (well, we know Asa got a cabinet post, but where is he now?), Canady, McCollum, Buyer, Gekas... and who are Cannon and Chabot?

38. Judith Regan and Bernard Kerik, A Republican Lust Story
I know Kerik still appears on Fox sometimes as a "contributor" or whatever.

Where is Judith Regan, the NY publisher of Rush Limbaugh's books and of other polemics?

I hope everyone remembers how, when Kerik was considered by The Idiot for head of this phony cabinet department, "Homeland Security", that it came out that Kerik and Judith Regan had been using a Manhattan apartment which had been donated right after 9/11 as a place where clean-up people and firefighters, etc., could go for a respite from their horrible labors. And what were Bernie Kerik and Judith Regan using this donated apartment FOR? Why, to have steamy republican sex. This--notwithstanding the fact that Bernie was married to someone else at the time... Party of Family Values, oh yeah.

43. Bill Paxon.
Husband of Susan Molinari. I remember when he was said to be the new face (a "Ken Doll" type) of the Republican Party, with a wife that was a woman with the looks of Meg Ryan and the mind of Mary Mtalin. They were everywhere together. He was THE rising star... and then suddenly he disappeared, and she quickly followed, into anonymity and private life, rarely to even be heard of again. (And, when there is a sighting, it's of her, not him.) Who replaced him IMMEDIATELY as the dream candidate/hope of the Party? George "Dim Son" Bush. I find it interesting to consider just what the heck was said, done, threatened, whatever.... to make the Paxons go away so quickly and so completely -- especially considering who and what was the immediate alternative.
