Why Congress doesn't investigate the possible abuse of power by scrub
I posted a comment about this in a poll I conducted.

Does it bother anyone else that Congress can find time to investigate possible steroid abuse in professional sports and get involved in the inequities of the BCS College football bowl system. But, they cannot find time to investigate possible abuse of power?

3. There is no way the Repukes in Congress are going to investigate
a Repuke President.
They are too drunk in their power to ever consider anything along the lines of such actions.
This is the utopia of government for them, they have total control and now they are going to do what the damn Democrats have stopped them from doing since Roosevelt was in office.
They would do nothing to stop the complete castration of the republic as we know it.

I believe some (Spector perhaps?) have already called for inquiries. But i will have to wait until the end of January.

8. Any inquireies by this congress will be a sham.
At best they will find nothing at worst they will justify the actions of this criminal administration.

No republicans can be trusted to do the right thing.

9. Every House member has to face re-election
I expect something to be investigated. How deep they will go and how efficient that are are two different stories.

7. Republicans will not investigate republicans.
It's a simple concept. Although the founders intended for us to have 3 branches of government, we now have only two. We have the judicial branch , the executive branch and the extension of the executive branch also know as the US Congress. This congress feels that they were elected , not to be a check on the executive branch as the founders inteneded, but to ensure that the agenda of the executive branch is carried out. Investigating the executive branch would be counterproductive.
