I think a majority of people are LIVING like Republicans. They're spending money they don't have and hoping that something "trickles down" so they can pay their debts.
If a majority were living like Democrats they'd be paying the bills as they go by taxing the fat, corporate rich that have such a free ride under the BFEE.

Repug economics have left people without the means to pay their debts. I don't believe that it's their wish to be in debt.
The 82% poll result would suggest that it isn't.

We essentially hired our representatives to do our bidding, but they're doing the bidding of their corporate donors instead.
And we're getting screwed.

I don't think the average citizen opposes corporations paying their fair share. This calamity train is being driven by BushCo, not citizens. We're not voting for tax cuts for the wealthy, the DC repukes (mostly) are.

We used to think that we lived in a democracy. Now many of us would just be happy to not live under martial law.
