Oh now it's "both sides" are corrupt

After 20+ years of the Repubs telling us, via Limbaugh and the like, that it's the Dems/Liberals, alone, that are what's wrong with this country...now it's "both".

Do you ever hear that from RW'ers now that they have thier ass in the fire?

1. "Everybody is responsible, therefore nobody is responsible"
that's where they are trying to go with this.

3. whenever i get a repug on the ropes about something they say
well both sides do it.

i stopped allowing that way back during campaign. i would talk about the filthy repug campaigning and get, well they both do it.

BULLSHIT.... i would say. give me an example of dem doing it. not about saying policy is wrong, but dirty personal attacks. and they couldnt. now when i talk about hte breaking of the law they say both sides.... i call them on it. but yes, it is their way of excusing the repug behavior

4. NO, IT's CORRUPT REPUBLICANS
DEAN: There are no Democrats who took money from Jack Abramoff, not one, not one single Democrat. Every person named in this scandal is a Republican. Every person under investigation is a Republican. Every person indicted is a Republican. This is a Republican finance scandal. There is no evidence that Jack Abramoff ever gave any Democrat any money. And we've looked through all of those FEC reports to make sure that's true.
Senator Byron Dorgan and some others took money from Indian tribes. They're not agents of Jack Abramoff. There's no evidence that I've seen that Jack Abramoff directed any contributions to Democrats. I know the Republican National Committee would like to get the Democrats involved in this. They're scared. They should be scared. They haven't told the truth. They have misled the American people. And now it appears they're stealing from Indian tribes. The Democrats are not involved in this.

5. They are trying to tell us that Democrats are evil,
because they do the same things that REPUBLICANS do.

"Don't vote for Democrats, why they are just as bad as REPUBLICANS".

11. Well of course, you know, there was that Bill and Monica thing.
That was so terrible for the country. That's why Bill got impeached. Now Dubya, on the other hand, well, all he's done is sell the country and the Constitution down the river. No real problem there, right? They all do the same thing? Well please give me back Bill's same thing, and then let's all lock Dubya's same thing and that of his cronies in prison where it belongs!

6. Democrats have no power. Why would anyone bribe any of them?
they can't get the legislation anybody desires. These scandals are always about the Majority. These ashole pukkkes are just in the habit of blaming Dems for everything. It's ridiculous--buying a Dems would be a vbig waste of money right now.

7. The names on the indictments will speak for themselves.
Let 'em quack about this being a bipartisan scandal. They will be proven wrong soon enough.

who are historically documented as the CULTURE OF CORRUPTION! They worked hard for their rightful place in history. May they be damned to wear it- publicly- every day.

Peace.

Just today on radio news Tom Delay's exclusive: I'm stepping down so someone else and step in and keep the 'agenda' going... the 11 year agenda that they have had going...Just what agenda is that...to rob the American people blind?...suck the middle class hollow?...load up all three branches of government and the Supreme Court so they can pursue their illegal agenda and be above the law? What asshats.

12. Ahem....K STREET PROJECT!!
Case Bringing New Scrutiny To a System and a Profession

"Abramoff was among the lobbyists most closely associated with the K Street Project, which was initiated by his friend Tom DeLay (R-Tex.), now the former House majority leader, once the GOP vaulted to power. It was an aggressive program designed to force corporations and trade associations to hire more GOP-connected lobbyists in what at times became an almost seamless relationship between Capitol Hill lawmakers and some firms that sought to influence them"

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/01/03/AR2006010301536.html

That's all ya gotta say. Tell them to look it up themselves. Don't do their homework for them.
