K Street Project

We need to use this. The K Street Project was initiated by Newt Gingrich with the help of Tom DeLay, Grover Norquist and Rick Santorum, among others, to force lobbyists on K Street in DC to hire Republicans and make massive donations to Republican candidates before the GOP would even consider helping them with their pet projects. They changed the way business distributed political contributions. For instance, oil companies used to give political contributions equally among Dems and Repugs. Now it's about 75%.

Sounds like solicitation of bribery to me. They were and are going around to the lobbying firms and telling them "If you don't contribute money to the GOP we can guarantee your bill will never clear Congress." There's lots of stuff on the internet. Just Google K Street Project.
