2. We'll know
if we see more Dems going on the floor of Congress demanding the investigations. For example, John Conyers should have dozens of Democratic co-signers for his HR 635.

3. Even when they begged for DSM investigations, the media wouldn't allow
them the airtime, and certainly wouldn't give DSM any significant reporting coverage.

7. Then we use the alternative media
There are some who have suggested copying the speech and giving out the CDs or showing them at house parties. I think this is what we need to do. Kindly remember that the USSR controlled their press yet the freedom fighters there determined another way to get out the word. We need to do the same thing. This wiretapping has gotten some people who were apolitical before to wake up. More and more will be joining them as they realize that the MSM is nothing more than a mouthpiece for Bushco.

8. I'm right there with you on that. That's why I keep pointing the finger
at the daily negligence and complicity of the corporate media, here. We cannot let up on them, until we reach SOME semblance of parity.

5. If every Dem...
just repeated that speech
the message would be undeniable.

6. I think it's part of a concerted push by the Dems,
Murtha on 60 mins last night (on the war) Gore's awesome speech today on the power grab of the executive, and Dems speaking across the country on Wed about the culture of corruption.

This is a narrative that will lead to a filibuster of Alito, because the narrative will provide the basis for that action.

Keep calling and writing your Democratic Senators and politely request your Dem Senator to support the filibuster. (and call all their offices in their state) see this discussion to see why:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x151526

Ever since the Dems put the Alito vote back a week I've figured there would be a filibuster. If they were going down without a fight, they would have gotten the whole thing over with as quick as possible.

disobedience and the filibuster.
