TWENTY BILLION in Tax Cuts invested in FRANCE
That's right. * says that tax cuts stimulate investment.

The thing he didn't tell us was that it was in FRANCE, LUXUMBOURG and the NETHERLANDS

4. It's from the 2006 World Almanac.. (article reference within)
Ahh, if it's not on the web, it doesn't exist! So much has changed in 10 years! I remember getting into a word definition argument with someone who didn't acknowledge an 'online' dictionary!

But here's the reference (a quick google did NOT produce the same chart - maybe you have better luck?):

The World Almanac and Book of Facts, St. Martin's Press
http://www.worldalmanac.com (website doesn't contain the information)
Page 112 of 2006 printed edition.
US Direct Investment Abroad in Selected Countries and Territories
SOURCE: Bureau of Economic Analysis, US Dept of Commerce.

Here's a PDF with a lot of the similar information:

6. That money doesn't go without strings attached.
I wonder what the quid pro quo is. France's recent nuclear saber-rattling comes to mind.
