Is Florida a contributory negligence jurisdiction?

I was just wondering, because if it is (and i have a hunch, as red states generally go- that it is) then i dont think that family of kids that got incincerated in that car accident has a prayer at recovery....

15 year old driving the van full of the kids probably rises to contributory negligence... no?

1. No, South Carolina is the only one

Though they may be a impure (more than 50% for Plaintiffs= no liability on Defendants)
