Why doesn't everybody just stand up and yell "Bush is an idiot!!"?
I was watching the Chimperor's press conference on Countdown, and it just astonishes me that, even though the Press Corpse is starting to ask a few prickly questions now and then, the whole bunch of them just doesn't stand up and walk out. Bush is beyond stupid; he's insultingly, arrogantly stupid. He makes me cringe, scream and want to throw things at my TV. How is it that the whole damn country isn't laughing at this fumbling pinhead? </rant>

1. People are uninformed, worry about tomorrow and what Jesus thinks.
The last thing they want is for communists to be driving up and down their streets shooting at them and molesting their children.

jr is protecting them.

I'm not kidding.

2. Yeah.
Why isn't somebody in the back of the room coughing, "BULLSHIT!!!" into his hand, like we used to do in Jr. High???

Doesn't anybody have any guts?

Do they think they'll get sent to a gulag?

Hell, maybe they will . . .

4. My mom reports that she saw an "Impeach the idiot" sign
in a dumpster in San Mateo (suburb of San Francisco) today.

The word is spreading. Remember to spread it any way you can. :)

7. Various Reasons
1. The corporate elites, who are smarter than Bush, like it that he keeps the groundlings' wages low.

2. The groundlings, who have deceived themselves into thinking he's a Bubba, like it that he's like them (even though he isn't, never was, and never will be.

3. The religious fanatics, who KNOW he's JUST LIKE them, and would rather he be THEIR President than America's President.

None of these groups have very many Democrats. Is this class war? HELL YES!

a friend of mine sent me this, and assures me that it is legit (although I don't have a link for it

the man is a complete disaster--HOW anyone can take him seriously is beyond me. I don't care who his puppet masters are, HOW is it that so many people think he is competent, caring, and in charge, when he clearly needs a keeper.

Verbatim response: PRESIDENT BUSH:

Because the -- all which is on the table begins to address the big cost drivers.

For example, how benefits are calculated, for example, is on the table. Whether or not benefits rise based upon wage increases or price increases.

There's a series of parts of the formula that are being considered.

And when you couple that, those different cost drivers, affecting those -- changing those with personal accounts, the idea is to get what has been promised more likely to be -- or closer delivered to that has been promised.

Does that make any sense to you? It's kind of muddled.

Look, there's a series of things that cause the -- like, for example, benefits are calculated based upon the increase of wages, as opposed to the increase of prices. Some have suggested that we calculate -- the benefits will rise based upon inflation, supposed to wage increases.

There is a reform that would help solve the red if that were put into effect. In other words, how fast benefits grow, how fast the promised benefits grow, if those -- if that growth is affected, it will help on the red.

Forward this to others -- so they, too, can understand
