12. If we don't turn the US around, one day his works will be "burned"
Along with the writings of countless other authors who ask "too many questions."

4. it would make it impossible to ever bring halliburton to justice
Edited on Fri Jan-27-06 02:49 PM by pitohui
it's just a bad idea, halliburton needs to be broken a la arthur anderson for its crimes

not given a thin veneer of "ownership" and respectability

8. Glad you approve. So, lets just call this war what it is- a BUSINESS &
lets reward those fighitng it. Lets give them as well as future recruits incentive to be part of the whole deal.

7. slight amendment: HALLIBURTON should give the shares, not us.
Everyone who profited from the invasion of Iraq should give a cut of their profits to troops in addition to paying their regular taxes (which they don't do anyway).

9. think about the scene in Catch-22
when Yossarian goes to help the tail gunner, opens the med kit, only to find a few shares of M&M entriprises in lieu of medication.

Just occured to me when I saw the post. ;-)

11. Sun Tzu would agree
Now in order to kill the enemy, our men must be roused to anger; that there may be advantage from defeating the enemy, they must have their rewards.

13. No, we MUST seize all of Halliburton's assets and freeze all the CEO's
personal bank accounts. After they are tried for crimes against humanity, we can give the money to veterans, and others maimed by Halliburton's piracy.

Halliburton and other companies like it must be completely dismantled and the ownership tried for war crimes.
