Yahoo/China is bad? think again--newstrove.com is gone
1) NewsTrove
Indexes and categorizes news articles gathered from international English-language news sources. Free news feeds and custom RSS.
newstrove.com

I tried Google, dogpile, hotbot, alti vista.

Google doesnt even come up with links-- the others do come up with links, but the page cant be found. I had used newstrove to research on Hugo Chavez. I had forgotten about the newstrove search engine, untill just today.

We have been cut off.

3. Did a little checking.
Hostname: www.newstrove.com
IP Address: 71.123.129.18

Hostname: newstrove.com
IP Address: 71.123.129.18

Traceroute and Ping (last line -- edited)
71.123.129.18 XXXX Echo Reply XXXX XXXX

But I can't get anything to load.

If you search for pages at google (Web, not News) limited to the "site:newstrove.com", then a bunch of pages come up.

A cursory look shows a Jan 17, 2006 date, perhaps there are later.

Appears down to me.

11. Oh,
I actually used search terms (force of habit to narrow returns).

But yeah, without search terms it shows Jan 25 2006.

Could just be offline.

Tried to quickly find an email address to contact them (admin/support), but failed.
