Need a little downtime?
If you need a break from banging your head against the political wall, like I have recently, may I recommend checking out my newly updated website? If you're a fan of sci fi or fantasy, or could just use a distraction, it might be a good way to kill a couple of hours.

I needed a break from the political scene for a while, which is one of the reasons I started working on my site the last couple of days.

One of the reasons, anyway. The other being I've been going near full blast recently on my current project and needed a breather that didn't involve shrieking in horror at the whole Alito nomination process.

If you don't feel as though you could use a brief distraction, please disregard. If you do, please proceed to http://www.sajewilliams.com and enjoy your respite.

In the meantime, I think I'll catch up on the political stuff here.

1. Thanks...
I have 'cauliflower ear' from calling "The Flip-Flop Caucus"
over the last few days and updating info on other boards.
I'm beat!
But I'll bookmark your site and take a look in the am! OK?
I've got to get some sleep!
Thanks!
:hi:

3. Congrats on your latest book!
Nice site.

Yes, good and necessary to have some diversions from the constant fires all around us.

4. I like it. Do you read a lot about gnostic christianity? I've just
started and find it fascinating. It may be just like the mythology of the Greeks; however, some parts of it have to come from somewhere?

Also, who did your art work (family, friend, paid for it?).

My nephew is an artist and is in college now studying to become (I forget the title), but one of those people that layout the video games and write the stories about them. He has finished his art history and creative writing (somewhat). He also writes the musical scores for the background music in the systems. Then he puts his animations together in a story line (like a cartoon mostly using Windows Paint Shop). He is a smart little cookie.

Anyway, if you are paying for the art work, and it's a lot, he might be interested in doing the art work for a book about to be published for extra cash. He may be too busy as well (this is just a proud aunt thinking of her sister's son).

As far as your question, if this was the only site I kept up with and my online adventures were purely political, I'd be insane or a Republican.

5. Which question to answer first?

To answer the first question--yeah, I've done a little looking into gnostic Christianity. Religion fascinates me in a lot of ways, though I tend to view it all from the perspective of an outsider.

At the moment all my artwork has been provided by the publishers. I have an artist friend who's done some work for me in the past, plus I'm in contact with a few others as well. Your nephew might also be interested in another project I'm looking into--graphic novels on disk with musical soundtracks done by an acquaintance of mine.

Sometimes the politics just gets too heavy, doesn't it? You gotta step back or go crazy.
