Has AOL blocked anyone else's search engine for AlJazeera?
also BBC...Each time I try keyword for those 2 sites I get,"action canceled" Do other DU-ers have this problem?
When I usa AOl to find REopen911.org and 911CitizensWatch both sites come right up as though I had DSL.
Help me out here, any information would be greatly appreciated..

Its CIFA and NSA that worry me..

3. Suggestion for you, get rid of AOHell now
They have been known to censor sites, block access to places, and cooperate with the NSA. That in addition to their ridiculous interface, charges, and the horrible way they do custormer service caused me to part with them over a decade ago. So just cancel them, now. And then cancel them again and again and again until they get the message. Because they just won't cancel you on the first try.

Instead of going with such a restrictive national ISP, better to go with a small local one that doesn't care where you surf, that's what I've found to be the best. There is nothing that AOL provides that can't be found elsewhere easily.

12. I go with my little local ISP,
Comes as part of the phone co-op's package deal for phone service. Really, out here in the wilds of rural Missouri, I didn't have much other choice. The big guys don't go out this far, thus leaving the market free for the little guys.

I'm well satisfied with it, it works well most of the time, though like rural electric and other rural utilities, it has its moments of complete spaz.

I don't know where you live, but if you can get AOL, my bet is that there is some local or regional ISP provider that will do a better job for the same or less money. Just look around.

13. MadHound, I live in NYC I had considered
going with AT&T for my computer needs but their policy was if I needed tech help I'd have to pay,1.99 per minute and from my experience with AOL tech help that would cost me gazillions AOL tech help is free and I need to call in often..
See I have less computer skills than bush has brains..I'm sure you understand, thanks for the suggestion.
