Edwards Takes Shot at Bush; GOP Fires Back
<snip>
Edwards’ barbs were not just directed at Bush, but at the Republican Party in general.

“When Republican lobbyists are snickering in e-mails about what they have gotten away with, you know Republican abuse of power in Washington is out of control,” he said.

1. The Rethugs must be worried about their reputation or something. Ha.
I agree with Sen. Edwards on this, and on many other things, too. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc. have consistently avoided taking responsibility for their many misdeeds.

2. WORST PRESIDENT EVER!!! DAMN RIGHT!
<snip>

Former U.S. Sen. John Edwards has evoked a sharp response from the Republican National Committee for calling President Bush "the worst president in our lifetime."

Edwards said in an e-mail message to his supporters this week that Americans must elect a Democratic Senate in 2006.

“This year, America will be presented with a unique opportunity to restore the moral leadership that has disappeared under George W. Bush and the right-wing Republicans in Congress,” Edwards said.

Edwards recently stated publicly that he was wrong when, as a member of the Senate, he voted to authorize the president to use force in Iraq.

3. beautiful
snickering in emails. Makes people imagine that that's the way ALL republicans are, if only we could see their e-mails.

Remember, Abramoff is supposed to be highly religious, the emails show how vile he really is.

5. After listening to the trash ....
coming out of DeMint's mouth, any kind of civility is no longer warranted. I usually turn the volume down when the pukes start in, because the venom they spew is so vile.

6. It's the Same Thing the Enron Execs Did
Snickering about how some "poor old lady" wasn't going to be able to pay her electric bill. I am just so amazed that so many people still support these heartless jerks. Bush's approval rating should be *a lot* lower than 39%.

7. A few Dems are FINALLY starting to "get it." America is looking for
a leader. There is no reason for Dems to be afraid to call the repukes what they are, treasonous, corrupt, greedy, election stealing bastards.
