1. Please tell me you are not gonna judge states by $$ amounts
cuz I really admire you and have had enough heartache today.

A lot of 'red states' (god, I hate this color thing - all states are a shade of purple) produce food, which is undervalued at the producer's end, so the figures are gonna be slanted. Here's a little something to consider about rural participation in the GDP numbers: Farming/ranching probably the only business that has to buy their supplies and equipment at retail while selling their product at wholesale. And somebody else gets to set the prices the producers get.

Not as productive as heavy manufacturing. But try eating a pickup truck. ;) $$ is arbitrary and not always the true value of what a place produces.

2. It's not judging. I was just curious how much economic leverage the Dem
voting states like NY, CA, PA have in this country, not that that seems to translate into any real political power or representation these days.

3. Red states are America's welfare queens
They get back more federal $$$ than they pay in taxes.

Blue states pay for the lazy sit-on-your-ass red states.

5. You should meet my freeper brother-in-law.
He loves nothing more than to fret over all the people he imagines to be living off his tax money.

4. As a Blue Stater, I must say that the truth is that the Red States...
are the welfare queens of America.
