Today would be a great day for Fitzmas.
Wouldn't it be nice if Fitz came out with a news conference with a string of indictments for bu$h and his gang of thugs? That would sure put a damper on the idiot's gloating over his nazi fascist SCUM-Lito. Is it too much to ask for one tiny little thing to happen to give US some hope for the future? Is it too much to ask that these investigations wind up and get these criminals behind bars where they belong? In the REAL world it would happen. Sadly,we are not living in the REAL world any longer.

2. Instead
They get to swear in Alito on the day of the SOTU speech. What timing. All the Democratic delay tactics sure worked in the Republican's favor.

6. yes, but...
I think the MSM would bury it below Coretta Scott King tributes and Chimpy's Screech tonite.

But, it would certainly make MY day.

7. Thought for sure it would be full steam ahead after Conrad Black
was taken out. Now, I'm starting to have doubts if anything will ever happen.

8. Oh for god's sake...
I agree with your premise, but I'm so freaking sick of the word "Fitzmas". Talk about jumped-the-shark paired with overhyped expectations that keep turning out to be less than overwhelming.

I'll believe it when I see it. Bushco have committed treason after crime after felony, and thus far nothing has stuck.

But yes, it would be nice to see someone or something steal the POS Bush's thunder. Hell, it would be nice to see old Robert Byrd go up to POS Bush's podium tonight, slap him on the face with his glove and challenge him to a duel a la Zell Miller for PISSING ON OUR CONSTITUTION NON-STOP FOR 5 YEARS.

But just watch, the repukes will give POS Bush standing ovation after ovation, and Zell and Holy Joe will join in, and the rest of the sorry-ass dems will sit on their asses, bored and apathetic, and not one of them will shout "GODDAMN LIAR!" at the top of their lungs like they do in the British parliament and should do here...
