WHO MAKES THESE DUMBASS DECISIONS FOR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY
For example, who asked Tim Kaine to give the response? Stupid. He means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
to anyone who doesn't live in Virginia.

They should have asked Ted Kennedy or John Kerry or Al Gore. Someone people know.
Someone who had the balls to stand up and be counted.

Who writes the response? It will be lame. It will say nothing. It will not fire back.
It will not tell how bad Alito is. It will not tell of the shenanigans of Abranhoff or Delay or Ney.
It will not say that the president is a liar and broke the law. It will not say that his people like dumbass Michael Brown knew the levees in N.O. would not hold.

THE DEMOCRATIC RESPONSE SHOULD BE ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT. Period.

1. Kaine is a hero inside the beltway
because he's a conservative and he unseated a pubbie all the inside the beltway types expected to win.

The inside the beltway crowd, DLC among them, don't want to rock the boat or offend anyone. After all, this is Stupid's night to shine, right? Don't want to threaten their tax cuts, you know.

And you're absolutely correct about what the Democratic response should be.

2. Amen ... Kaine is DLC all the way
Didn't Dean have any input on this? Is the responder selected by the DNC or by Congresspeople? I just don't understand why, on this occasion -- with a Chimperor-In-Chief with poll numbers in the TOILET, with scandals swirling about -- we select a nice, centrist, Rethug-Lite to deliver our ALTERNATIVE VISION for the country?

I'm sorry, but in this case, Nader was right -- THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO PARTIES!!!!

4. No, come on now, that'll just look like sour grapes
There'll be a better day to take a stand for America, there'll come a better day to fight. Maybe tomorrow. Or the day after. Or maybe the day after that. Or.... :sarcasm:

11. No, all eyes will be on the response.
This is the ONE time we have the camera with no rebuttal. We have the media without a filter.
This IS the time. We can directy contradict the lies the president will tell. We can tell the truth about what is happening in this country. Strike now while 52 percent think the guy is a failure and while we can confirm what the 52 percent thinks and why.

16. Another problem is they let the repubs pick who their candidate will be...
and the media runs away with it then someone else follows behind that person. When repubs go on these talk shows they spew out some point the dems start talking about their points and some are afraid to speak the truth.

17. Faux News quotes the traitor
giving RNC talking points

"Results matter. Planning matters. Management matters, and you can make much more progress if you do it in a bipartisan way," he said.

That was a dig at the president, but Kaine said Democrats in Washington also could learn from the success achieved by him and 11 other Democratic governors who run states that Bush carried in 2004.

"I think we have to be much more about an optimistic and positive message," Kaine said of his fellow Democrats. "I think sometimes we perfect the criticism without a positive, forward-looking message."
