Hey Dr. Dean! Next Year's SOTU Responder - Randi Rhodes
Edited on Wed Feb-01-06 04:11 AM by Nostradammit
Someone with a little more visible fire in the belly, if you know what I mean.

I would have bought a vacuum cleaner from tonight's dude, but I would not have been real excited about it.

Why is the Democratic Party still wearing gloves?

3. Kaine did a good job
not great, but good. The purpose of the response is NOT to talk to the base, but rather to the persuadable.

5. He did fair, I suppose -
But a little passion would not have hurt his case. I watched it with a room full of moderates and they quickly tuned him out.

I am simply asking for some representation for all of us out here who are pissed. I don't feel like listening to someone dance around the openly criminal behavior of this administration and I think people have been conditioned to tune it out. If our speach had a little more fire, it might create a little more heat.

What the hell do I know, I'm just thinking out loud.

4. No, someone with a little class and dignity
I have seen respectable ass kickings in the political world, no need to go into the mud pit.

7. Dean, Reid and Pelosi made an excellent and politically astute choice

Kaine was excellent...sharply criticizing Bush, but projecting a mature adult image of the Democratic Party, as opposed to the raving adolescent lunatics that are in there now.

8. Hell yeah!
I would love to see Randi give it. Or Mike Malloy. Talk about a poll swing. If they had given the rebuttal last night * would be looking at single digit numbers.
