bush* talking about new technology
To reduce our dependence on foreign oil. I think I remember him rolling back gas mileage requirements for the major US automakers when he first went into office.

2. Just Another Lie
In the recent federal budget cut package that was passed and signed just a few days ago, Bush agreed to cut the National Renewable Energy Labratory budget by $25 million. The total budget for NREL was only $200 million to start with.

Lies, lies, lies.

3. Anyone who thinks that new "nucular" and coal plants
will reduce our dependency on "ferin" oil is a fucking fool.

Less than 2.5% of US oil consumption is used to produce electricity - at *small* peaking facilities that large nuke or coal plants cannot replace.

They really do think we're stupid.
