FEC Candidate Reports through 12/31 now online
didn't see this so this may be the first...

go to dKos for the links to each candidates, also has a summary:

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2004/2/1/5124/80560

Clark has about $3 million cash on hand, once debts are subtracted out. He raised about as much money in 3 1/2 months as Edwards or Lieberman did all of last year- just under $14 million each.

Dean had $8,500,000 net (after debt) cash on hand on December 31st. This indicates that the $5 million cash on hand figure we've been hearing is probably low, maybe way low.

Wow, Edwards is in rough shape. Negative net cash on hand is a tough way to live.

Kerry has $700,000 net cash on hand, if you remove the debts he owes to himself. Only $2.9 million in "loans received from or guaranteed by candidate" is shown, so he probably had a few million more than that. So he's needing lots of cash fast.

Don't forget to add Dean's 1.5 million now being raised plus we raised another million back in January....

if we are reading this right, Dean may have close to $12 million on hand...

1. Hard to figure much from that
Only takes you through 12/31, a LOT has happened since then...including money in and money out of campaigns.

2. not really...
you can average out the amount each campaign spent and make guesstaments as to how much came in and left....

Also, it is Kerry now who is having to fight off multiple campaigns....his cost will have gone up....

Ahhhhh, gotta love king of the mountain...

3. Yeah
It's a good system, this primary deal. A trial by fire. I guess some people get left out...maybe a rotating system? Or how about 5 primaries a week over 10 weeks? With no two states from the same region (Northeast, South, Midwest, Southwest, West) represented in the same week. That could be fun.

4. Kucinich doing quite well, with even less media attention than the others

Not too bad. Went from 800K on hand to 2.6M on hand.

He's running his grassroots campaign very lean. :) Be interesting when he gets his turn in the spotlight. ;)
