Who funded the January campaigns of Lieberman, Gephardt, Edwards & Kerry?
Lieberman began 2004 with less than $400,000 net cash. Who gave him money in January to run all of his ads?

Gephardt began 2004 with less than $500,000 net cash. How was he able to run all those attack ads in Iowa?

Edwards began 2004 with negative $300,000 net cash. How did he pay for all those sunny side up ads of his?

Even after loaning himself 2.9 million in the fourth quarter, Kerry began 2004 with less than $700,000 net cash. How many more millions did Kerry have to loan himself for his ambitious January campaign?

1. I heard this, but i am not sure
Lieberman is staying in the race until a certain date (I forgot it). On that date, he will get his share of the matching funds, will pay off his debts and leave the race all at the same time.

3. It's not a point. It's a question.
Where did these candidates get the money to run their hugely expensive January campaigns?

(Other than Kerry, of course, who is obviously loaning his campaign millions and millions out of his own pocket.)

4. Um, I'll take "The Rapists" for 200 , Alexsh
I suspect we'll find "Inc." and "LLC" after the names of this current round of donors is released next quarter.
