Kerry not a leader on legislation, not a creative bone in his body
I am sick of Kerry trying to act like he has lead the battle's on so many issues. His commercials say he lead the battle's on everything you can think of but ABC news showed that Kerry is not known for drafting bills and he is just a guy who votes on what comes up in front of him. Factcheck.org ripped Kerry for this as well: http://www.factcheck.org/article.aspx?docID=134

Frankly, I am not impressed with Kerry's trying to take credit for other peoples hard work! Kerry who doesn't have a creative bone in his body and should stop pretending he is such a leader when in fact he is just a follower on legislation.

1. Kerry reminds me of an aging former activist
resting his liberal laurels on battles in the past which makes it even worse because its like steves earls amerikan version 6.0 voting on issues the way he is expected to. look at him then and look it now its like a slap in the face to me because hes touting how he protested and fought for soliders who were used as pawns in an unjust war but now all he can give is talk

3. How UnAmerican!
Kerry HAS lead....somewhere....on some issue that skips my mind.....oh yeah, maybe it was the vote for the IWR. Vote for Kerry, he'll send your kids to die if it serves his cause. Yeah, I can get behind that. Not.

7. I say we all write the News programs and tell them we think Kerry
Needs to stop taking credit for other peoples HARD WORK!!! I don't want to have to vote for him now! I wan't someone who has actually been a leader like Clark or Dean or Edwards or Kucenich.

If I had drafted legislation and some other jerk tryed to take credit for it I would be pissed off! This really pisses me off!

15. Name 1 person who has exposed more govt. corruption than John Kerry.

I'll look forward to your answer.

The Senator who stood up first to adviocate for gays was John Kerry.

The Senator who helped craft the Kyoto Protocol was John Kerry.

5. Kerry: a "show horse," not a "work horse"
When Al Gore was considering Kerry as his VP pick in 2000, here's how Steve Roberts of US News characterized the Mass. Sen.:

ROBERTS: I do think, though, that they're hearing some negatives about John Kerry, as they should, actually. He has a reputation as being a show horse, not a work horse, as a self-promoter. He is seen in the Senate and certainly by the Washington press corps as not a particularly solid guy. And I think they are hearing that, some negatives about John Kerry.

8. The real reason Gore didn't select Kerry
is that Kerry made Gore look wussy in comparison.

10. Exactly
Didn't want to hear "Why isn't that Kerry guy running for President. I'd vote for him."

What legislation has Al Gore's name on it? Anything at all???

9. The Republican Steve Roberts -- great source.

Just the opposite. Kerry is known to work in the background carry the weight but taking no credit. Ask Ted Kennedy.

6. Some Senator were on CNN today saying just the opposite

Said most important change is achieved via amendments to broad legislation that does not bear your name. Kerry as always been the
"junior" Senator and has authored numerous legislative efforts that
do not bear his name. And that is the way to do it if you do not want
to be a show boat.

In any event, many of Kerry's proposal during his tenure never saw
the light of day because they were to non-mainstream to pass.

The American For Democratic Action, the most prominent progressive activist group give Kerry a 93% score (Kenedy 88%, Welstone 99%, Edwards 75%)

The League of Conservation Voters, the umbrella environmental lobby group, give Kerry the highest 4-term lifetime score in the Senate of 96% .

I think that is better witness for me that Republican crap.

11. Maybe it is the age and not the men?
We seem to have waves of greatness in leaders. When we start invading countries maybe our days are numbered and we need new blood in the works? Look at our history and I think it has always been like this, with the ups and downs. People do not vote either.

13. Kerry was first to campaign about Energy Independence & Modernization
He was stumping about it last year before others picked up this vital idea.

I am impressed.
