He said he was shot FRIDAY. Randi Rhodes pointed it out and played the clip. "Accidents can and do happen, and that's what happened friday."

I saw the clip....I didn't see any apparent injuries to his FACE, either.

10. Woodward and Bernstein were on Larry King tonight...

and they both agreed that this Cheney thing was handled sooo poorly, saying there are many unanswered questions. Bernstein said, "Why can't they just tell the TRUTH? Everything this administration says is treated as non-credible by the majority of Americans now, be it about the WMD, Katrina, Abu Grhaib, or this." (paraphrasing) They even both agreed that an investigation should be done into this to clear up what really happened!

Somebody needs to look at the admissions records to confirm, unless the local ER's weren't called until Saturday? I mean Cheney travels with a "MASH" unit, which probably could handle a little buckshot, but found out, due to his age, he needed a little extra ICU ?

Also, isn't the Secret Service detail required to contact their (SS in DC) boss as soon as an incident occurs involving their "protectee" ? Should be a phone record of that?

Mr. W is an elderly gent, and could suffer a little senioritis, but why was he discharged if he can't remember the day he got whacked?

It was on the dreaded "situation room" and yes he certainly did say Friday.

I have no idea what to make of it...at this point it wouldn't surprise me if they are just blasting random falsehoods and red herrings out there to make things look even more confusing.

I can't tell anymore what they are up to on any given day.
