Matalin-Opponents used Cheney's Personal Problem for Politicical Gain.

That is the basis of Mary Matalin's whining on "Meet The Press"! They, once again, did NOTHING wrong, it was everyone elses fault. The missing quail stamp is against the law, but...geez.

Well, there is ONE thing that I know FOR SURE!! Mary Matalin was FRONT AND CENTER in the press when President Bill Clinton was freakin' IMPEACHED over lying about SEX, when perjury isn't prosecuted maybe 10% of the time in this country!!! IMPEACHED!!!

And she wants THE REST OF US to get things in PERSPECTIVE????

She was also a member of the Iraq War Group -- charged with generating favorable publicity for that stellar moment in our nation's foreign policy history. Her statements in defense of Cheney should be viewed in this light -- sputtering flatulence masquerading as deep political insight.

she repeated her claim that the VeepCreep doesn't drink.
Not a drop.. in her words...he's a teetotaler.

Well Cheney himself said that he had a beer at lunch
and a cocktail that evening.

Cheney doesn't drink, not one drop. None of them bother to read each others spin. I would think he would have told her he had a beer (or two, three)at lunch and a cocktail at dinner. Another case of the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.
