Hey, Scott McClellan! Cheney's LAUGHING at you for handling his mess.

Bush and Cheney had a quiet talk. According to a Republican official, the President told Cheney how much he too loved Whittington. He acknowledged what a crushing experience it must have been to see Whittington fall after Cheney pulled the trigger on a bird, failing to see his friend nearby.

After one of McClellan's press briefings, Cheney deadpanned, "He looks like he's having fun."

Cheney knew what to do, being acquainted, as anyone in his position would be, with that most familiar and degrading of political rituals, the act of public penitence...

6. I really don't know why Bush & Cheney are public servants

they hate the American people, who they consider beneath them, they hate all laws (too limiting) and they hate the free press (too revealing) and they hate those they work for them (he looks like he's not having a good time.) I really don't know why they just don't
abdicate like Marcos of the Phillipines did.) Maybe we could sell off all Laura's party
gowns to pay off their huge tab.

He decided what needed to be done. He called dick in and told him what to do? He used his keen intellect and charm to persuaded dick to do something he didn't want to do? Umm.....excuse me, while I clean my keyboard, and get up off the floor. If there is one thing in this world that I am absolutely, positively sure DID NOT happen, it's that chimp handled this situation. I realize that TIME magazine is sourcing a "republican official", and we all know how scrupulously honest THEY always are:sarcasm: , but I'm not buying it. This is pure propaganda.
