Latest war casualty -- conservative belief in "personal responsibility"
To the list of conservative principles which are being tossed aside like yesterday’s trash in order to defend George Bush, let us add the ostensible virtue of "personal responsibility."... The President and his followers controlled every part of this war with an iron fist, ignoring anything which their political opponents said and insisting on the right to exert full-scale, undiluted control over it. And now it has failed. And it’s everyone’s fault except theirs.

Another Reason to Reject Dubai Ports World

The Jerusalem Post has learned that the holding company of DPW enforces the Arab boycott of Israel. So when President Bush asks "Why should we treat an Arab company different from a British one?" here's one more (of many) answers to that juvenile question.... Well gee, Mr. President, if we're not supposed to deal with companies that enforce the Jew-hating Arab boycott of Israel, how is it we're supposed to be able to deal with DPW?
