Conyers "forced" staffers to baby sit his kids? That's the best they can do? Rethugs rob the country blind and they are worried about this?

Not sure how old Carl Conyers is, but Conyers himself described his kids as "young children" in 2000. http://www.house.gov/conyers/pr122900.htm

If you read the story (which no one ever seems to do), the allegations underlying the complaint date back to the late 1990s. So at the time his kids probably were babysitting age.

I hope that the allegations are untrue, but the fact of the matter is that, after spending much of my adult life involved with politicians and elected officials, it wouldn't surprise me if there was some truth (maybe not the whole truth) to the allegations.

They're slipping. If this is supposed to cause outrage, it's laughable, considering the times we live in.

We're supposed to get all in a tizzy over something that inconvenienced someone back in the 'nineties, when we have 5000 Americans still missing from Hurricane Katrina, and every day, news of death and destruction coming from Bush's war in Iraq ~

Sorry if I don't see the problem here ~ I'll reserve my sympathies for the dead, their families, the maimed the missing, numbers which combined total close to 200,000 individuals multiplied by their grieving families ~ and all of whom are direct victims of this administration who are a wee bit upset over someone getting stuck with Rep. Conyers two children back in the nineties???

Even it were true, it's hillarious to think they think anyone in their right mind will see this as a problem. Shows where their priorities are.
