Bumiller of NYT Writing Condi Bio, Will Take Leave
Boy, this explains all kinds of crap.

NEW YORK Elisabeth Bumiller, a prominent Washington correspondent for The New York Times and frequent TV guest, will be going on leave in June to write a biography of Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

The leave is expected to last one year. The New York Observer broke the story this morning.

The book project has caused further ripples at the paper, as Bumiller's husband, Steven Weisman, covers diplomatic issues at the paper--and he has been told he will have to switch beats to avoid conflict of interest concerns.

Bumiller currently writes the regular "White House Letter" feature in the Times. She has a story on the paper's Web site today on the president's surprise trip to Afghanistan. A search at the site finds few articles by Bumiller about Rice in recent months.

2. Probably a book of praise in advance of her presidential bid
Will Bumiller be able to gloss over Condi's fuckups as the worst NS advisor then the worst Secretary of State in the nation's history?
Will Bumiller win the 2007 fiction prize?

4. Wow, that should be real fucking hard!
Ignorant slut wallows in "conservative" slop and facilitates the deaths of thousands. That's about it isn't it?

5. Hey, BOSSHOG....
why don't you send that to her publisher?

Save 'em a ton of money.

Actually, as a subsciber to NYT, I will be glad to not see her byline on her "fluffer" dishes of fawning, steaming crap she serves up with sickening regularity.

Good riddance (if only for a year), bitch.

7. That could be a blurb on the back cover of the book.
Sounds appropriate.
