Other Presidents, like Clinton for instance, would consult their focus groups and polls to decide whether to eat a baby or not, but not Bush. Eating a baby is obviously what's right for America and Bush didn't think about it, he didn't quibble, he not only ate the baby, he ate it live. I have a couple gigs of footage from that time...it is stunning to watch now.

the problems could be including the disaster upon a disaster comment about what could happen with people who might be in safe areas like the Astrodome. That part of the tape was a kick. And there should never be any doubt in anyone's mind now that Bush can't govern. He is clueless and just can't do the hard work because he is lazy and not up to the task of being President. You know, on one hand I can understand how a chief exec like Bush can be casual about assessing the risks of the situation. On the other hand, I'm utterly incapable of understanding why he didn't reach out to his fellow citizens. We're all Americans, right? I feel as if Bush would be the prick on the bridge while everyone else jumps in the freezing river to save the person who drove off the road...

But we knew all this already. Maybe some more kool-aid swilling sheeple will catch on, but we are getting petty close to the core base of irreversibly pickled brains and blatant greedy opportunist. The Narcissistic, antisocial and irreversibly stupid crowd, if you will. No changing their minds.

What does this mean? Now its time to start cleaning the Democratic house of the Liberman's, Chaffee's, Feinstein's, DLC Republican wannabees and their ilk.

In these meetings, Bush is described as self-confident. He reassures local officials that the Federal government will be on the top of the situation. But he clearly was empty headed. He asked no questions. He apparently did little to follow up. Typical of King George.

Saying they screwed up on the original story, and a seperate story that says Blanco told Federal officials that the levees were okay. This is so unreal. No one ever holds them accountable.
