'Misspoke' .... ? 'MISSPOKE'???????

George Bush didn't 'misspeak' .... he fucking lied.

Why can no one say it even when you have the fucking evidence on tape, in living color.

Tonight's Hairballs was a jewel of altered reality.

Kate O'Bierne, who is nothing less than batshit crazy, said Bush didn't anticipate the levee breach because no one believes the weatherman (in this case, the inestimably competent Dr. Max Mayfield). And then fatass Bob Shrum, who did more good than harm, just couldn't bring himself to say Junior lied.

He ... misspoke.

How quaint.

They showed the FEMA/Bush tape and then immediately showed reporter Lisa Meyes, who repeated what Bush said afterward about not knowing the levees would break.

They didn't flat-out call him a liar, but the way they reported it showed they had no doubt he lied.

I might lie about some tryst I had years ago, or the # of times I had sex when I was a teen or the size of that crappie I caught that mysteriously turned into a 15# bass....but NONE of my tales have ever cost a life, or anyone any property....
