Is this a celebration, a protest, or are they giving us the bird?

From a catalogue I've never heard of and never ordered, but which arrived in today's mail ..... I give you ......

2. Acorn Media is the parent company, and they're a cool produciton company

they produced the Tales of the City series for PBS along with a lot of British comedy releases. I think its a protest thing....
