Sorry, about the alusion to Terrorism, but, well, I'm just not feeling real confident of "our" leadership.

4. how did change come to the Democratic Party?
Our party went from being the party for big bankers and southern aristocrats to underdog workers and minorities. It went from being the party of the Vietnam War to the party of peace. From the party of white primaries and poll taxes to the party of open primaries and universal suffrage. From the party of social darwinism to the party of equal opportunity.

It can happen again. How many years did it take before the civil rights movement was taken into the party of integration? How many years did it take before the peace movement was brought into the party supporting the war in Vietnam? How many years before liberalism is brought back into the Republican Party?
