Bush Shocked by Arrest of Former Adviser- ABC news
Bush Shocked, Filled With 'Deep Disappointment' by Arrest of Former Adviser on Theft Charges

By DEB RIECHMANN

WASHINGTON Mar 11, 2006 (AP)— President Bush on Saturday said he was shocked to learn that his former domestic policy adviser was charged with theft for allegedly receiving phony refunds at department stores.

"I was shocked and my first reaction was one of disappointment, deep disappointment if it's true that we were not fully informed," Bush said.

Claude Alexander Allen, 45, was arrested Thursday by police in Montgomery County, Md., for allegedly claiming refunds for more than $5,000 worth of merchandise he did not buy, according to county and federal authorities.

"If the allegations are true, Claude Allen did not tell my chief of staff or legal counsel the truth, and that's deeply disappointing" the president. "If the allegations are true, something went wrong in Claude Allen's life, and that is really sad."

Allen, named as domestic policy adviser in early 2005, resigned abruptly on Feb. 9, saying he wanted to spend more time with his family.

To see more reasons why Bush is soooo shocked by this, continue on to the website-http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=1713280

If he has a reaction "one of disappointment, deep disappointment", then i wonder how he feels about Turd Blossom releasing the identity of an undercover CIA agent during her mission, getting "misled" information that led up to the war in Iraq, stealing both elections that got him into that office, being made into a puppet by daddy's best friends? I wonder how he feels about these things, i could go on and on.

Add some more things about what you think Georgie boy, the man child, is "disappointed" by

15. Betcha everybody involved in "persecuting" this poor, innocent man
either gets "suicided" or fired eventually.

And don't worry, Claudie, Bush WILL be pardoning you. Mark my words.

4. Shocked! Just shocked!
CASABLANCA (1942)

Rick: How can you close me up? On what grounds?
Captain Renault: I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!

Croupier: Your winnings, sir.
Captain Renault: Oh, thank you very much.

Captain Renault: Everybody out at once!

5. His Director of Procurements, David Safavian was arrested also. Did he
ever comment on that?

His favorite Congressman, Tom Delay, has been indicted. I remember him taking Tom for a ride on AF1 just to show his support for him.

Was he 'disappointed' when WH official, Scooter Libby was indicted?

I know he says he didn't know Jack Abramoff, but Jack helped get him elected ~ does he know he probably wouldn't be in the WH without Tom and Jack?

So many indicted and convicted Republicans who helped get him elected and helped him get his bills through Congress.

Maybe if he stopped hiring criminals and incompetents, he wouldn't need to be 'shocked' so often ~

9. typical egocentric response
"I was shocked and my first reaction was one of disappointment, deep disappointment if it's true that we were not fully informed," Bush said. "

Not sadness for the man or his family. No expression of concern. NOOOOO - it's all about "me" for Bush.

10. I think whoever told * about this is in trouble
Like a month has gone by since the crook quit. * probably noticed he wasn't around and asked what had happened to him and somebody let the cat out of the bag. I think the asshole is that sheltered from reality. Whoever spilled the beans here popped the bubble he's in.

As far as what * is or should be disappointed by:
-He's married to a zoned out zombie
-Together they've managed to raise two drunken sluts
-His mother is a screeching harpie
-His father is a p-whipped loser
-He probably has a really tiny wee wee

18. A very strange phenomena - retail theft & politicians. Happens in
Edited on Sat Mar-11-06 12:44 PM by applegrove
Canada all the time. Really. I don't know why. Maybe because of stress or being self-involved and totally unaware of ones surroundings. I can think of three instances in the last 20 years in Canada. Politicians and retail theft.
